DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
I believe that Isolation/Exclusion.Isolation and Exclusion is when either one of the partners are controlling what other does, who he/she reads, see's, and talks to.Where he/she goes, limiting outside involvement, and using jealousy to justify actions. This abuse will most likely happen because lets say one of the partners may be cheating and for them to cover up infidelity they will blame the significant other of cheating. I haven't had any of this type of violence thankfully. The only advice i think i am in power to give anybody is that if you have that feeling in you and you are positive that he been doing you wrong then just let him go.

The Supremacy Clause-Study questions

1.Thomas Jefferson promised to not take anything from the Indians but Andrew Jackson took over the supreme court and allowed the Georgians to take everything from the Indians.

2.The Cherokee tribe became acculturated to European culture by adopting to the U.S. government, becoming Christians, and sending their children to boarding schools. They also dressed like the whites, and learned to speak their language.

3.By 1932 Native Americans lost 90 million acres of their land which was 2/3 of the land that was reserved through laws. The Dawes Act caused much of the loss because Native Americans did not move to the allotments and the allotments were leased to non-Indians which are whites, causing all the loss of land.

4.Chief Joseph was the head Chief of the tribe, he was upset in 1855 because the gold was discovered. He fought with federal troops. He was superior Military Tactics. Captain Jack was asked to leave their home land and Captain Jack fought against everyone for his land.

5.The Supremacy Clause is that they wanted their land. The white people wouldn't want to give them nothing. Andrew Jackson took away the land and resources oil and crops.

6.I think that well actually know that I would refuse to leave because I know my rights and I know theirs laws that protect those rights, which are my rights.

Music Therapy

To Whom It May Concern,
Hi my name is Jocelyn Bastida a student at Lindsey Community Day School and mother of a child in music therapy. I wanted to let you know how important and great Music therapy is to my son and I. I think music class exist for the babies and their mommies for both to have a fun way of bonding.I have learned a new way to get my sons attention and to get him calm in a smoothing type of way of music.I use music with my son when his play time is over, we sing a clean up song and also when hes taking a bath.I feel very happy and exciting during music class because I'm eager to see what new sign language my son will learn that day.My favorite part of music class is when my son is learning different ways to say thank you, and learn new ways to be more social with the other kids.My son does a variety of sign language at home that he has learned in music therapy. What i have observed is great he knows much more manners and he is able to communicate with me with signs and words.Music Therapy has affected my relation with my son for the better. We sing songs together and share smiles from the moment that he wakes up in the morning till he goes to sleep at night.I believe music therapy is an experience for mommies and their babies worth while.Music Therapy has and still is improving my child's language development. He is able to use many new words in his vocabulary.I would recommend music therapy to a friend that is a parent for the first time and loves to enjoy time with their baby. Thank you for taking your time to read my letter.
Sincerely, Jocelyn and Malcolm Turley.

My Education My Future Obama's Speech

  1. The words that resonated to me from Obama's speech was that he said that if we give up we won't just give up on us we will give up on our country too. The line that I remember was that ''Nobody is born being good at everything."
  2. The three most important words in Obamas speech were:education, commit, and responsibility. I believe these words mean to dedicate and promise to never give up in life and to pursue your dreams.
  3. Obama is inspiring me to not give up on any of dreams and to especially not give up on myself. He is challenging to finish highschool, and to go onto college and work hard for a college degree.
  4. The quote that obama said means a lot to me and my life. It means that nobody can plan my future do to all my actions im the only one that can make sure my future is what I wish for.
  5. Right now what I have contribute to my country is that I haven't gave up on myself and my country to quit my education, even tought I have a baby im still going to school and trying to get my high school diploma.
